The smoothie that's big on flavour, not calories.

Fruit

Here in Great Britain we love tea, and we also enjoy the tasty goodness of fruit smoothies. When blended together the two create a delicious and refreshing smoothie; all the exotic flavours of our favourite fruits, but with less sugar and less than 99 calories.

Tea History

The people of Great Britain have been enjoying tea since the 17th century. Green Tea was the first variety to be imported through London, back in 1660 when we simply referred to it as 'China drink'!

Four cups of tea daily maintains good health

350 years ago when we didn’t know so much, we didn’t really know whether tea was good for us or not. Luckily, medical and scientific research has come on leaps and bounds since then, and we now know that drinking 4 cups a day can actually maintain good health… cup of rosie lee anyone?

The Tea Fact File

Heart made of images of tea

Tea is more than just a watery liquid. A great reason to drink tea is for its antioxidants, called catechins, which hunt for free radicals. Free radicals contribute to blood clots, cancer and heart disease, and they damage DNA. Tea is also known to increase levels of "good" HDL cholesterol while lowering "bad" LDL cholesterol. Who knew tea was such a disease-fighting warrior?!

Lightbulb with a brain inside

Tea is a great stimulant. It contains the amino acid L-theanine which works to improve brain function.

Tea Mug

Tea is low in calories. Low meaning only 2 calories in a mug!

We've learnt a thing or two about smoothies over the last 10 years. One thing that's very important to us is the integrity of our supply chain, which is why, where possible, all of the ingredients that we use in Froo-T are sourced from Fairtrade farmers around the world. So not only is Froo-T 1 of your 5 a day and low in calories, its also ethical to its core.
